2011 - my 1st year on the road…
2011 has been my band’s first year on the road. It took us about a year and a half to get our lives where they needed to be in order to pursue such an undertaking, but we finally made it. We set out to do this thing and we’ve done it since January of 2011. We’re still doing it. 
It’s been terrifying.
A lot of times we don’t know how we’re going to make it or what opportunities will be presented to us. We just know that this is where we’re supposed to be; this is what we’re supposed to be doing.
It’s been exhausting.
I’ve never felt so stretched and drained. In those moments where we’re doing show after show, I know that there is nothing in me that could be useful or have an impact on people’s lives. Quite often, that’s when the small voice that I’ve surrendered to so long ago will appear and say the things that really need to be said. So humbling.
It’s been incredibly rewarding.
We’ve had so many great opportunities to tell people about our Savior and how he sustains us. For as many people that we’ve been able to encourage, so many more have been an encouragement to us.
We’re looking toward this next year with great anticipation. We’ve got a lot to do. Big plans for 2012. Stay tuned…
